The SharpHog Southern Pine Beetle Infestation Model Desktop Application

The desktop application for Windows OS exposes every feature of the new SharpHog model. The model is powerful, consequently, the application is complex.

 

The initial loaded UI is ready for SPBModel Xml to be read from file or entered with the Graphical User Interface.

The equations defining the rates which govern the flow of the infestation through the simulation can be re-defined for particular runs of the model.

The full output contains values for 60 data-fields for each instant modeled.

Raw output is not very useful. SharpHog desktop application includes tools for creating and applying Xslt queries of the data

That sample query above results in Comma-Separated-Values of important data-fields for further statistical analyses
